Robbie McCord – Bio

Robbie McCord often credits his first art teachers as Charlie Brown and Bugs Bunny.
That’s because at a very early age on a Saturday morning he could often be found
drawing the Peanuts’ gang and other characters from the comics section of the paper,
while absorbing as many Saturday morning cartoons on the TV as he could. He
developed a huge love for cartooning and for the ability of a cartoonist to
tell a story and convey emotions in just a few lines. This is what set the foundation
for the illustrator that he was going to be.

Robbie now works as an illustrator in St. Louis, Missouri where he lives with his wife, two
kids, two dogs, two cats and a few koi fish. His work includes illustration for magazines,
packaging, animation, portraiture and a mural for the United States Marine Corps.
